Mayfair & Belgravia Chiropractic

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of chiropractic services by Mayfair & Belgravia Chiropractic (“the clinic”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). They apply to all individuals who book appointments, attend the clinic, access the clinic’s website, or otherwise engage with our services.

By booking an appointment, attending the clinic, or engaging with the clinic in any capacity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before commencing care.

About the Clinic

Mayfair & Belgravia Chiropractic
Unit 4, 10 Portman Square
London, W1H 6AZ

All chiropractic services are delivered by fully qualified, registered, and insured chiropractors operating in accordance with UK professional and ethical standards, including those set by the General Chiropractic Council (GCC).

Scope of Services

The clinic provides chiropractic assessment, examination, and treatment relating to musculoskeletal and spinal health.

Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Chiropractic consultations and clinical assessments

  • Manual chiropractic treatment

  • Reassessment and progress reviews

  • Guidance relating to posture, movement, and activity where clinically appropriate

Chiropractic care focuses on musculoskeletal function. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, emergency care, or specialist medical treatment.

Nature and Limitations of Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care involves hands-on assessment and treatment of the spine and musculoskeletal system. As with all forms of healthcare, outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Response to care varies significantly between individuals and may depend on factors including, but not limited to:

  • the nature and duration of symptoms

  • overall health and medical history

  • lifestyle, occupation, and activity levels

  • adherence to recommendations where provided

Symptoms may fluctuate, improve gradually, remain unchanged, or in some cases temporarily worsen before improving. No guarantees are made regarding outcomes, symptom resolution, or duration of care.

Initial Consultation and Clinical Assessment

All care begins with an initial consultation. This allows time to:

  • discuss presenting symptoms and relevant history

  • conduct a physical and clinical assessment

  • identify potential contributing factors

  • determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate

Where appropriate, treatment may be provided during the initial visit. Findings may be discussed verbally, and further recommendations may be offered based on professional clinical judgement.

Ongoing Care and Clinical Recommendations

Any recommendations for further care are made based on:

  • clinical findings

  • response to treatment

  • changes in presentation

  • individual goals and circumstances

There is no obligation to commit to ongoing care. The clinic does not operate routine or pre-set treatment programmes. Care is reviewed regularly and adjusted as clinically appropriate.

Clinical Discretion and Right to Modify or Refuse Care

The clinic reserves the right to:

  • modify treatment approaches

  • pause or discontinue care

  • decline treatment

where it is clinically appropriate, where safety concerns arise, or where chiropractic care is no longer suitable.

This may occur where symptoms suggest the need for further investigation, referral, or alternative care pathways.

Patient Responsibilities

By engaging with care at the clinic, you agree to:

  • provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date health information

  • inform the chiropractor of any changes to your condition or medical history

  • follow clinic policies regarding appointments, payments, and conduct

  • ask questions if any aspect of care is unclear

Failure to provide accurate information may affect the safety or appropriateness of care.

Consent to Treatment

By attending the clinic and proceeding with care, you consent to chiropractic assessment and treatment.

Consent is ongoing and may be withdrawn at any time. If consent is withdrawn, care will cease immediately.

Chiropractic techniques and approaches may vary depending on findings and response.

Fees, Payments and Pricing

Fees for services are published on the clinic’s website and may be updated periodically.

Fees reflect clinical time, expertise, and delivery of care. Payment is required in accordance with the clinic’s fee policy.

Block bookings or promotional offers are subject to specific terms, which will be explained where applicable.

Cancellations, Missed Appointments and Late Attendance

Appointments are reserved specifically for each individual.

Advance notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to attend or late cancellation may result in a charge.

Late arrival may result in reduced appointment time or rescheduling, depending on availability.

Behaviour, Conduct and Clinic Environment

The clinic is a professional healthcare environment. Patients are expected to behave respectfully towards practitioners and staff.

The clinic reserves the right to terminate care where behaviour is inappropriate, disruptive, or compromises professional boundaries.

Risks, Discomfort and Safety

Chiropractic care is generally considered safe when delivered by a qualified practitioner. As with any physical intervention, there may be temporary discomfort, soreness, or fatigue following treatment.

Potential risks will be discussed where relevant. Individuals are encouraged to raise any concerns before or during care.

Privacy, Data Protection and Confidentiality

Personal data and clinical information are handled in accordance with the clinic’s Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

Confidentiality is maintained in line with professional and legal obligations.

Website Use and Digital Communication

The clinic’s website is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.

Digital communications, including email and SMS, are used primarily for administrative and appointment-related purposes. While reasonable care is taken, electronic communication may not always be secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the clinic shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of services or website content.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability where it cannot be lawfully excluded.

Force Majeure

The clinic shall not be liable for failure or delay in providing services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, technical failure, or external events.

Termination of Care

The clinic reserves the right to discontinue care where it is clinically appropriate, where Terms & Conditions are breached, or where professional boundaries are compromised.

Where care is discontinued, this will be communicated clearly.

Complaints and Feedback

If you have concerns regarding care or service, you are encouraged to raise them with the clinic directly.

Complaints will be handled professionally, fairly, and in accordance with regulatory guidance.
